This year, more than 100 representatives from Ukraine’s FMCG sector gathered at a strategic conference organized by SoftServe Business Systems for its clients and partners: FMCG Future Focus 2025 – Where the Digital Solutions Industry is Heading and How to Lead the Way. 

Leaders from 50+ top companies came together at SoftServe’s Kyiv office to discuss advanced automations, AI, and innovations. The participants included global players (Mars, AB InBev Efes, Nestlé, PepsiCo, JDE, and others) and Ukrainian regional manufacturers, many of whom have already reached international scale. 

Attendees shared their experiences, exchanged views on the future of digital and AI technologies, and discussed plans for their implementation.

A special feature of the conference was client presentations that showcased practical cases and demonstrated how innovative solutions are transforming FMCG companies. 

Kormotech

Kormotech is a global manufacturer of cat and dog food with a 20-year family business history. Operating three modern plants in Ukraine and Lithuania with a capacity of over 102,000 tons, the company exports five brands to 44 countries, ranking among the TOP-20 fastest-growing players in the global industry.

Eduard Babenko, Regional Head of Ukraine, Moldova, and Southeast Asia, spoke about transforming collaboration with retail clients through the company’s B2B eCommerce platform: 

The creation of our B2B portal was a direct response to our clients’ request to be involved in joint planning and development. It enabled us to establish a new channel of personalized communication with partners, relieve our sales teams of order-taking tasks, and focus on growth.

This case demonstrated how a B2B eCommerce platform can elevate client relationships into strategic partnerships and create a new model for growth. 

MHP 

MHP ranks among the leading producers and suppliers of chicken and ready-to-eat meat products, reaching consumers in 80 countries worldwide. 

Yurii Bebel, Head of Business Model Efficiency and Commercial Policy, shared insights into building an IT ecosystem of multiple solutions and innovative approaches to using standard IT tools: 

In just two years, we covered a distance that usually takes 10–15 years. And for any project, we can clearly see how many millions of euros it has already contributed to the company’s operating profit.

The MHP case proved that a comprehensive IT ecosystem can not only optimize processes but also directly boost profitability. 

Mars Ukraine 

Yehor Myrhorodskyi, RTM Manager, and Andrii Naida, Sales Operations Head, presented a case of a comprehensive digital transformation of sales and cost management:

AI as the New Standard 

SoftServe Business Systems also presented updates to its AI-Driven EcoSystem, with most solutions receiving significant improvements that enhance efficiency and user experience: 

  • Smart Manager (sales force & territory management): expanded functionality and improved mobile version; 
  • PromoTool (trade promotion management & optimization): a complete upgrade with a new platform, enhanced UI/UX, and new features for expense control, annual planning, and reporting. 

Particular interest was sparked by innovations involving AI assistants (agents). Demonstrations of real-life use cases confirmed the shared belief that artificial intelligence has become a new standard for digital solutions – and will play a decisive role in competitive technology development.
