Our customer is Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the biggest brewery company in the world. We own over 630 beer brands (including Budweiser, Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, Beck’s, Leffe, Chernihivske) in 150 countries and are considered to cover 28% of the global beer market worldwide. European HQ is in Leuven, Belgium.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years in a Data Scientist or similar analytical role
- Proficiency in Python or R and experience with core data science libraries and toolkits
- Solid grasp of the full data science workflow: from ETL and EDA to feature engineering, modeling, and evaluation
- Strong understanding of machine learning techniques for classification and regression tasks
- Familiarity with descriptive and inferential statistics
- Confident communication skills and a good sense of data visualization principles
Nice-to-have skills
- Hands-on experience with Design of Experiments or recommender systems
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and scaling analytical solutions
- Working with APIs to gather external data, ideally from social media platforms
- General software engineering skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support prediction modeling and measurement initiatives by scaling and deploying solutions together with global analytics hubs to improve commercial KPIs
- Maintain and update data pipelines, monitor model performance and stability across multiple use cases and markets
- Contribute to live testing activities by enhancing the test-and-learn platform and helping stakeholders design and run in-market experiments
- Optimize online promotion strategy, including calendar planning, execution logic, and personalization to drive higher conversion and long-term customer value
- Collaborate with the broader data science team to refine existing tools, methods, and best practices
