Middle/Senior Business Analyst (data stream)

Our client for this project is Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) — the largest brewery company in the world. AB InBev owns over 630 beer brands (including Budweiser, Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, Beck’s, Leffe, and Chernigivske) in 150 countries and holds approximately 28% of the global beer market. The European headquarters is located in Leuven, Belgium.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in formalizing software requirements and assigning tasks to developers
• Basic understanding of data concepts (databases, data types, joins, etc.)
• Hands-on work with SQL, MS SQL Server, and Excel, including writing simple queries
• Knowledge of data flow visualization and process modeling
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud and Data Warehouse solutions
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Upper-Intermediate English for daily communication with clients and teams
• Experience in data analysis (nice to have)
• Knowledge of Power BI (would be a plus)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate business needs, including investigation of data mismatches
• Analyze issues reported by business teams to identify root causes and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders
• Monitor data quality and escalate issues when necessary
• Work closely with data scientists and engineers to ensure data quality and relevance
• Write user stories and manage the product backlog
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams
• Maintain documentation of data products, logic, and features
