Senior System Administrator

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of commercial experience as a System Administrator
• Strong knowledge and understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, WSUS, and Terminal Services
• Experience in configuring, managing user accounts, and ensuring security in Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with Active Directory (AD) principles and administration
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes clusters and Docker
• Deep understanding of network architecture and design principles
• Basic experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Skills in installing, configuring, and managing core services and packages in Linux
• Understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Basic knowledge of at least one monitoring system (Zabbix or Grafana)
• Share the values of the company

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deploying and modifying virtual machines (VMs) in the system environment
• Preparing VMs for operational use, applying the necessary configurations, and software
• Monitoring system performance and health using Zabbix, ensuring effective backup procedures are in place
• Configuring Zabbix and managing VM backups to ensure data safety and recovery options
• Working with virtualization technologies, managing resources, and configuring systems to optimize performance
• Setting up and configuring HAproxy, pfSense, IPSEC, WireGuard, OpenVPN, and Cisco technologies to ensure secure and reliable network operations
• Working with Active Directory services, including DNS configuration, user management, GPO management, replication, and schema maintenance
• Monitoring and deploying Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal performance and availability
• Working with Docker for container management, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling of applications
• Participating in network configuration tasks (preferably) to optimize connectivity and security
• Writing and maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation for system setups, processes, and configurations
• Actively troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain the stability and functionality of the systems
