Senior Business Analyst (experience in AI/ML/CV projects)

About the role 

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Image Recognition (Computer Vision) product team. You will work closely with ML engineers and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into clear product requirements. Experience with Machine Learning and Computer Vision concepts is essential.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software product environment
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements, including SRS documentation
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning and Computer Vision concepts, including how model training, data quality, and labeling impact recognition performance, with the ability to communicate effectively with ML engineers and business stakeholders
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, QA, ML, and business stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify gaps, edge cases, and inconsistencies in requirements
• Experience participating in discovery, presales, or client workshops
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English for client communication, workshops, and presales activities
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices

Nice-to-have

• Experience working on AI, Machine Learning, or Computer Vision products
• Hands-on experience with labeling tools or data annotation workflows for ML projects
• Background in retail, FMCG, or shelf analytics

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare functional requirements and SRS documentation for product features, enhancements, and paid client requests
• Facilitate and participate in estimation sessions by explaining business context, requirements, and expected functionality to development teams
• Consult project Business Analysts and clients on image recognition capabilities, business rules, and recognition feasibility for specific use cases
• Consult the Labeling team on data annotation guidelines, ensuring they align with business objectives and support high-quality model training
• Work closely with ML engineers to ensure business requirements and labeling guidelines are correctly interpreted during implementation
• Support presales activities by analyzing client requests, preparing and reviewing demo scenarios, and creating or reviewing To-Be documentation when required
• Participate in discovery workshops and pilot sessions with clients to gather requirements and define To-Be processes
• Assist in completing technical questionnaires for RFP/RFQ processes in collaboration with Architects and IOPS teams
• Advise Sales and Delivery teams on the feasibility of image recognition for specific product categories and non-standard use cases
